About the organisation
Of our current about 130 employees, 30 are based in Stockholm with the rest distributed remotely, mostly across Europe. Our expectation is that the team will multiply several times in the coming years.
As the VP Accounting at Proxify, you will lead our Finance and Accounting team of (currently) three people building a global finance operation. We are looking for someone who knows “what good looks like”, and has been in a leading position in a global organization before. The VP Accounting is a key role that is responsible for, among other things, global accounting, statutory reporting and tax compliance across the entire organization. We currently have only one legal entity (in Sweden) but are looking to build a global framework in the coming years.
The challenge
Drive an efficient monthly and annual closing process, ensuring timely and accurate numbers for operational and financial reporting
Point of contact for auditors and external accounting firms
Drive timely statutory reporting
Responsible for all tax matters incl. transfer pricing policy
Lead and drive scalable process improvements across everything we do

Your profile
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or other relevant subject, from a leading university
A minimum of 10 years of experience with international accounting and tax operations
Experience in leading teams and people management
Excellent skills in Group Accounting, Excel, and IFRS accounting standards, as well as how to efficiently operate a global finance function
Experience in Swedish / EU VAT and tax regulations
Previous NetSuite experience is advantageous
Fluent in English, speaking and writing
