Sarnova had fully operational e-commerce websites for its most important brands. The sys- tem is working and stable and is not a "burning building". E-commerce is implemented with a .NET e-Commerce framework called Znode. However the client had to fix multiple performance issues with the current implementation, also Znode does not appear to be very feature rich and makes it difficult to maintain the features. Sarnova wants to migrate its e-Commerce business to Hybris in order to unify multiple dis- parate legacy platforms / systems it uses for different brands currently. By moving to Hy- bris they will get the new features and functionality offered by Hybris out of the box and will get to the end state quicker than with Znode.
