Honeywell Fall Protection is a division of Honeywell International focused on delivering advanced personal protective equipment (PPE) and industrial safety solutions, including fall arrest systems, hazard detection technologies, and productivity-enhancing tools used across construction, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.

• Developed and maintained a Python-based backend system to manage barcode-based shipment workflows and inventory tracking for safety equipment.
• Integrated barcode scanner input to automate and streamline the shipping label generation process, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Built a module for compiling and packaging Python code into cross-platform executables to support flexible deployment across client environments.

Frontend Development:

• Enhanced the frontend using React.js and Next.js, creating a more intuitive user experience that streamlined daily accounting tasks.
• Ensured that Crispa’s clients could seamlessly handle financial data, upload and process invoices, and manage accounting workflows in one cohesive system by connecting robust backend services with a polished, user-friendly interface.

The client Saveeye gives users the opportunity to obtain a complete overview of their electricity consumption and habits. With the Saveeye products and the associated App, users can follow their electricity consumption in real time and see historical data for hours, days and months.

1. Backend APIs with Django:

   • Rebuilt existing Node.js APIs into Python APIs using Python, Django, Ninja API, and Docker as part of an AWS migration for devices from Thingsboard.
   • Created APIs and scripts to migrate over 20,000 devices from Thingsboard to AWS IoT and Django.
   • Developed WebSocket and real-time communication for devices using AWS IoT and MQTT connections.
   • Refactored AWS Lambda functions responsible for saving device readings into a Timescale database.
   • Restructured and rebuilt the authentication and authorization process, integrating an RBAC system.
   • Optimized communication and resource usage between the Timescale database and the Django backend.
