Modul University Vienna GmbH is a Vienna-based private university (English-language programmes). Worked with the university to design and deliver student-facing and internal web systems, including a multi-channel AI support setup that ties department workflows, admin tooling, and a RAG-based assistant, under strict privacy and operational requirements.

• MUVi Connect (web, WhatsApp, AI) Shipped the embeddable web chat and in-browser experience so students can get help where they already are on the site. Launched and iterated WhatsApp support so the same conversation quality and routing to the right department work across web and messaging. Built out the AI support backend so responses use approved university content, escalate cleanly to staff when needed, and stay aligned with policy (including how and when cloud models may be used).

• Platform operations & release quality Improved how the system is run and released: repeatable environments, safer configuration handling, automated tests and smoke checks before go-live, and clearer deployment practice so outages and regressions are easier to prevent and roll back.

• Public university website (Sitefinity CMS) Owns ongoing delivery on modul.ac.at: new and updated pages and widgets, media-rich sections (e.g. galleries and sliders), accessibility and performance fixes, and stable, repeatable front-end builds. Release process is aligned with the university: automation where it helps, documented manual steps for dev/production, and backup / rollback discipline for IIS-based publishes.

• Delivered a production event-registration platform that lets attendees register and pay for Modul University events online by connecting Microsoft Dynamics (event and registration data) with Stripe (payments) and a PostgreSQL-backed API, plus tooling for staff to manage routes and operations.

Sycous operates a production web estate spanning multiple customer-facing Craft CMS properties. The role is hands-on engineering across five live sites, balancing roadmap delivery with maintenance, reliability, and the operational discipline required when multiple brands share patterns, integrations, and release risk.

• Own ongoing development and stability of a five-site Craft CMS portfolio (multi-site and single-site), handling upgrades, security patches, and Composer/plugin updates aligned with project config workflows.

• Design and implement scalable content models, navigation systems, and global structures, enabling non-technical editors to manage complex content without regressions across releases.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of features, including Twig templating, CMS configuration, form flows, and transactional email systems, ensuring reliable editorial and front-end experiences.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across templates, integrations, environments, and asset pipelines, delivering durable fixes and documenting patterns for long-term maintainability.
